I couldn't wait to see it. It is worth it's weight in gold! The Dinsmores did an excellent job in this video. After watching the process on video I really feel confident to start tanning hides. I will be watching this again and again! They definitely make you feel that tanning hides really isn't so hard or complicated. I cannot say enough good things about this video! It will be in the VCR every step of the way once I get started tanning!  I would like to know how long to smoke the hides. Joe said in the video that he smokes them in his smoker for 9-12 hours. Does he turn the hide over or not? Does he put the flesh side up or down? What does he use as a guide to say that the hide is done being smoked? I am already figuring out where I'm going to build my smoker. This video is an excellent reference on the pre-smoke method. It is money well spent for anyone considering tanning hides!
